Colorado entered play in a win or go home frame of mind and looked every bit like a team that wasn't ready to go home. The Aves took a 3-1 lead into the third but fell asleep at the wheel managing only 3 shots on goal for the frame while allowing Vegas to tie the game up. Luckily for Colorado the period ended before any further damage could be done and they escaped to the dressing room to regroup. Overtime proved to be very exciting with both teams having several opportunities to end it but both goalies stood tall. It wasn't until Colorado notched their 28th shot of extra time that a puck finally made it across the line for the win. This series has been tight and it only seems fitting that we head to game 7 to decide it! All tied up at 3 headed for Colorado.
